The new HighVISC Delivery Test Device (HighVISC) is a Technology Demonstrator has been designed to let you experience the difference of using compressed gas Pico-Cylinders as a power source.

Gas-Powered Pico-Cylinders have gained significant acceptance over the last five years as a superior power-source alternative to springs. Pico-Cylinder Gas-Power is incredibly consistent, accurate, highly tunable, quiet and offers an extremely low force to fire.

Many device engineers and designers have limited experience and knowledge of gas-power. We want to change this.

Through the HighVISC, you will have the hands-on experience of gas-powered technology in the form of the industry leading Pico-Cylinder and Pico-Pin. In the Gas-Power Test Kit, we have included multiple fill variations of the most widely adopted Break-Away Septum Pico-Cylinder. As you use the HighVISC to activate the different cylinders, you will feel, hear and see the difference that gas-power makes for high viscosity drug delivery. And, you will experience the significant power required for high viscosity drug delivery as you use the manual plunger to push the 100 cP silicon fluid through a 27G TW needle back into its ready position.

The Opening Force Fixture (OpenFORCE) has been designed to show just how easy it is to access the harnessed power of our most widely adopted Break-Away Septum Pico-Cylinder.

In the past several years, the idea of using gas as a power source has steadily gained traction. Unfortunately, this has led to several misconceptions about the consistency, accuracy, and tunability of gas-powered systems.

That’s why we built OpenFORCE.

OpenFORCE puts all the possibilities of gas power – even better, Pico-Cylinders and Pico-Pins – directly into your inquiring hands. Complete with adapters to interface with the most common test stand configurations (M10, M30 and 5/16”-18 connections) OpenFORCE gives you the flexibility to measure for yourself.
